Jerimiah P. “Bud” Galvin August 16, 1926 – December 26, 2015 Omaha, NE- Born in Spalding, Nebraska. Preceded in death by parents, Jeremiah and Alicia Smyth Galvin; brothers, Martin, James, Ambrose, and Frank; sisters, Mary Boylan and Joan Archer. He is survived by wife of 61 years, LaVerna Pier Galvin; daughters: Cheryll Galvin, Dr. Susan Scholer (Steven), and Diana Kline (Doug); grandchildren: Frank Scholer (Elizabeth) and Paige Scholer, Sam Kline and Max Kline; great-grandson, Holden Scholer; brother, Cletus Galvin (Peggy); sister, Ethel O’Meara. VISITATION Tuesday, December 29th from 5pm to 8pm, with ROSARY at 7pm, all at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday, December 30th at 10:30am at St. James Catholic Church in Omaha. Interment, Calvary Cemetery with military rites by Millard American Legion Post 374 and VFW Post 8334. Memorials are suggested to St. James Catholic Church in Omaha, St. Augustine Indian Mission in Winnebago, NE, or Siena/Francis House in Omaha.
