Garold G. Whaley
January 19, 1947 – April 4, 2018
Preceded in death by parents, Grover and Glenna; brothers, Wilbur and Mark. Survived by wife, Shirley; daughters, Carie Lehrke (Jeremy) and Teri Sterling (Mike); grandchildren, Allison and Joshua Sterling; brother, Donald (Janice); sisters: Connie Yordt (Bob), Dorothy Miller (Ron), and Barbara Wolverton (Larry); numerous aunts and uncles; cousins; nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 8th from 1pm to 3pm at the West Center Chapel. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Monday, April 9th at 12:30pm at Resurrection Cemetery with military honors by Millard American Legion Post 374 & VFW Post 8334.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Diabetes Education Center of the Midlands.

So sorry for your loss! I remember Garold always had a smile, a joke, or prank up his sleeve. I also remember how much he loved his family..you could see it in his eyes. Prayers going up for all of you.

I always really enjoyed seeing Garold when he came into the clinic! The first time I met him we were talking and he stopped me mid sentence and asked me where I was from! Little did we know we shared roots from New Market, Iowa. We always had fun when we visited. He was a joy!
