Gary Anthony Hall, 67, of Omaha, Nebraska died on Monday, January 22nd, at his home after a long illness.

He was born March 13th, 1956, in Beloit, Wisconsin to Ceoria Hall. He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1974. In May of 1977 Gary met Nikki Scott, and they were married on May 31st, 1980. Gary and Nikki had two daughters from that 20-year union.

Gary was an avid sports fan and enjoyed weekends when could watch his two favorite sports teams, The Green Bay Packers and The Chicago Bulls. He also enjoyed fishing and taught his daughters at an early age how to fish. They would spend hours at Rock River catching and releasing fish. Later he would pass his love of fishing onto his grandchildren and would take them fishing at Holmes Lake in Nebraska.

Gary met Sarah Bonner in the early 2000’s and enjoyed a fulfilling relationship with her as his significant other for his remaining years. The two enjoyed spending time with their families, traveling, keeping up on sports teams, spending time with their dog, CoCo, and going to many movies.

In his professional life, Gary had a very successful career in Retail Management, working at ShopKo Department Stores from 1980 until his retirement in 2020. He began as a security guard and worked his way up to store manager during that career.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Jameah Lynae Hall; granddaughter, Kiara Hall-Murray; mother, Ceoria Hall; and sister, Mary Henry.

Gary leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Latrice (Reuben) Ingram; five grandchildren: Kameron Anthony Hall, Sacramento California, Naomi Lynae Ingram, Lincoln Sanders Ingram, Nora Lynn Ingram, Theodore James Ingram, Lincoln, Nebraska; his significant other, Sarah Bonner and CoCo, Omaha, Nebraska; a brother, Craig (Tracy) Hall, Fulton, Georgia; a God daughter, Erin Issac, Washington DC; his forever sisters-in-law: Lesli (Deron) Isaac, Derry, New Hampshire, Evelyn Scott, Rockford Illinois, Cydney (Timothy ) Martin, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 14 nieces and nephews and 9 great-nieces and nephews.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Village Pointe Cinema, 304 N. 174th St.
