HANSEN-Gary F., age 54, Omaha. Born March 23, 1954, to Joyce Elaine Brockett and Francis Beaufort Hansen in St. Joseph, MO. Gary attended school in St. Joseph, MO, and graduated from Missouri Western State College. He married Elizabeth Wood, daughter of Luella and Marvin Wood, Sr. of St. Joseph, MO, on April 18, 1981. Gary and Elizabeth have three children, Corey, Bree and Ryley and a foster daughter, Amanda. Gary was employed by District 66 Westside Community Schools in Omaha as the middle school building supervisor. He was an active volunteer for his children’s schools. He enjoyed traveling, camping, sports, cooking, holidays and celebrating life with family and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his father and his brother-in-law, Franklin Keller. He is survived by his wife; son and daughters; mother; sister, Karen Keller and children, Jeffrey and Erin Keller and Cortney Keller; and grandniece, Ashlyn Keller, all of St. Joseph, MO. SERVICE Saturday, 11am West Center Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials to “Gary F. Hansen Memorial Fund” c/o U.S. Bank of Omaha. The family will receive friends Friday, 4-7pm at the West Center Chapel.
