So sorry to hear about Gene’s passing. He and I worked together for the above ground tanks at Douglas County generator sites. He was a great guy to work with and he loved to talk. That’s a good thing. Can’t make it to the service, supposed to be out of town, but wanted to send my condolences. Steve Morrissey
I worked with Gene at Douglas County. That was a privilege, he’s one of the most knowledgeable people around. He was never too busy to spend time and dish out some wisdom or whatever was on his mind.
Rest In Peace Gene
My condolences to his loved ones and friends
When thinking of Gene, I don’t ever remember Gene being in a bad mood. He was always at work and had skills in building maintenance from the roof to the basement. Gene was 2nd to none, one in a million. That’s what he could be referred too. Gene, you had 38 year’s in with Douglas County of dedicated service you can never be replaced. I worked with him for 20 years, it was easy being his boss. Thoughts and Prays. Scott A. Guffey
