So sorry to read this today in the obituaries about George passing during his birthday month of July . I remember his birthday as one week after mine. But, he was 1 year younger than me. I have fond memories of you 3 boys as our neighbors on Bellevue Blvd. Also, wonderful memories of the trip to the Apostle Islands on Lake Superior. . The part that was most scary to me on that trip was when your Mom choked on a fish bone! It was lodged sideways in the back of her throat!! Yikes! Do you fellas remember that event? The other scary thing was having to use the outhouse at night ! Ugh! Owls and bears, oh my! Of course, my imagination went wild !
Anyhow, lots of good memories from the Blvd. Another was your Dad , milking the cows & squirting the milk into the cats mouths. He had the best chuckles!

    Sincerely,
    Barb Novotny Humphrey

One of many at UPRR who really enjoyed working with George. He will be missed. His obit was shared with the UP Engr Retirees. Our thoughts are with his family.
