Georgia Anne (Coates) Hughes

October 3, 1945 – September 23, 2018

Preceded in death by parents, William D. and Marian T. Coates.  Survived by husband of 51 years, Mark F. Hughes; children: Veronica A. Snyder (Patrick), Mark W. Hughes (Eva), and Matthew P. Hughes (fiancée, Carri Connely); nine grandchildren: Emily A. Snyder, Nicholas P. Snyder, Joshua L. Snyder, Abigail M. Snyder, Mark N. Hughes, Evan W. Hughes, Hannah R. Hughes, Colin R. Hughes, and Delainey R. Hughes; sisters: Madeline P. Hoellen, Theresa K. Stanek (Joseph), and Julia E. Chesnutt (John).

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 26th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Thursday, September 27th at 10am at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 “Q” St.  Interment, Calvary Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to St. Gerald Catholic Church or Josie Harper Hospice House.

    Georgia was a wonderful women and mother. She is loved. I’m so sorry for your loss. Spent so much time at the Hughes house growing up.
