My prayers go out to the family of Jerry Danita.
I didn’t really get to know Jerry very well but from Facebook I knew he loved his cars. He will be missed by his wife (Deb) family, many friends. His passing was a total shock to me. My prayers go out to Deb and Jerry’s family.
Shipmate you will be missed
Deb and Jerry’s Family, I am so sad that Jerry isn’t with us any longer. I proudly served along side Jerry on the USS VINCENNES . We shared a lot of memories sailing and working side by side long hours. I will miss seeing him at the ship reunions. All the very best to Deb and his family.

You will be missed buddy
Very sorry you are gone old buddy. We may not have been as close as we once were, but you were the second oldest friend I had, first friend I made when I moved to Omaha in 1975. Needless to say I’m going to miss you.
My condolences to all his family and his many friends.

I am so sad hearing of Jerry’s passing. We have been friends since junior bowling, and continued that friendship through the years to include cars, motorcycles and racing. He will be missed.
