YORK, Glenn P. Jul 10, 1925 May 1, 2014 Glenn P. York, a longtime resident of Norwalk, beloved husband of the late Antoinette LoGiudice York, passed away on May 1, 2014 at Hospice House, The Josie Harper Residence in Omaha, Nebraska. Born July 10, 1925, he was the son of Kathleen McDonald York and Glenn York. Glenn was a Naval Veteran, medically discharged in 1945. Glenn graduated from technical school in 1948 and worked for the Manson Corporation in Stamford from 1953 till 1966. He then worked as an electronic technician for Vectron Laboratories from 1966 till his retirement in 1988. Glenn was an avid boater and was treasurer of the South Norwalk Boat Club for many years. Glenn was also an amateur Ham Radio operator, photographer, carpenter and collector of gadgets. Glenn is survived by his two daughters, Paula DiBiagio of Bridgeport, CT and Lyndie Whicker of Omaha, NE; son, Dr. Glenn York of Omaha; grandsons: Gerald DiBiagio, Micheal-Paul DiBiagio, Andrew DiBiagio; granddaughter, Caitlin DiBiagio; two great-grandsons, Paul and John; nephew and niece, Christopher LoGiudice and Terri (Luigi) DeMeglio of Bethel, CT; brother and sister-in-law, Antonio and Margaret LoGiudice of Norwalk; three stepsons: Richard Duros, Patrick Malloy and Jeffrey DiBiagio. In addition to his parents, Glenn was predeceased by his wife, Antoinette York, daughter, Leigh York, and granddaughter, Amanda DiBiagio. ROSARY Sunday, May 4th at 6pm in McMahon Hall at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2706 Leavenworth. MEMORIAL MASS Monday, May 5th at 10am at St. Peter Catholic Church. Friends may gather for Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 5th at 9:30 AM at St. Mary Church, 669 West Avenue, Norwalk. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk, CT. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Hospice House-The Josie Harper Residence in Omaha, Nebraska.
