Hoyt, Gloria E. Gloria E. Hoyt passed away from a sudden cardiac arrest on February 16, 2016 in while visiting in Corona, CA on an annual vacation. Gloria was born on April 21, 1931 in Huron, SD. She was the daughter of Walter A. Mueller and Fern V. Swarm. She was their third and last child. She passed away just two months before her 60th wedding anniversary and her 85th birthday. She is survived by her husband George Hoyt, her daughter Linda Dunlap (Dave), her son Gary Hoyt (Laurie), her grand children Dawn Munter (Nick), Darrin Munter (Kristen), Dean Munter, and Deanna Allen (Jason), Amy Nakai (Bruce), Adam Dunlap, Alexandra Valdivia (Luis), Amanda Dunlap, Anna Dunlap, Ashley Kershaw, Danny Hoyt, and Anna Richardson (Jonathan). Also surviving are twelve great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Debra Munter both of her parents and her brothers Arthur Mueller of Portland, OR and Walter (Bob) Mueller of Huron, SD. In her earlier life she was raised on a farm in Beadle County SD and then worked as a telephone operator for a few years. Because George was career Air Force, they lived in many different places including WY, CT, AL, Japan, MA, MS, NY, SD, OH, and NE. Despite the hardships of frequent military moves, she totally supported Georges career and her family. She was a committed wife and loving mother to her family. In the later years after George retired from the Air Force, they relocated to CA, and she became a tax preparer. She also reached the highest level in that discipline as Enrolled Agent. Gloria was a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. She was raised without any traditional religious background, but in 1966 she became inspired by the Holy Spirit to become a Catholic. This decision ruled much of her life, and she practiced her following of Jesus Christ completely for the rest of her life. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother has departed this life to spend eternity with Jesus. Visitation one hour prior to funeral service.
