Gregory Allen Slachetka
June 5, 1959 – February 19, 2024
Gregory Slachetka, aged 64, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away in his home on February 19th, 2024. He was a loving and kind father, brother, son, and colleague, and a mentor to many who will be greatly missed. Remembrance service to be held on March 29th, 2024 at the La Vista Community Center, Room #1, from 2:30pm-5pm. Family, friends, coworkers, and clients are encouraged to attend and share photos, memories, and fellowship to honor Greg’s life.

I am so sorry to hear of Greg’s passing. He was in my brother John’s class. Mike was in my class (of 72’). I always wonder how the Slachetka family was doing. Hope to see you on Friday, if not again I am so sorry for your loss he was a very sweet kid.
I am so sorry to hear of Greg’s passing. We were in class together at St. Bridget’s. The last time I seen Greg was the all school reunion several years ago. It was nice to see him & catch up. Greg was always so kind, with a great smile. Praying for all the Slachetka family. God Bless. Rest in peace.
Greg is an individual who had an impact on my life. We worked together many years ago. I am blessed to have met Emily and Rachel. Natalie was not born then. He is a really nice guy that you could talk to about anything and he would give you real-talk back. He is also extremely funny. I say he is, because I knew him to be a believer in Salvation. He just moved home.
What I have yet to make stick is to keep in touch with people often and tell them the impact that they have made.
