I’m so sorry to hear this sad news my heart and prayers go out to Sophie, rocky and family I knew Greg almost 50 years so many great times I will never forget you my friend rest in peace ❤️
I remember the first-time Rocky introduced me to his brother Greg some 30 years ago, and he said, “Hernandez, ehh? Wanna hear a good joke” Lol…always witty.
Whether it was poppin in to say hi, making sure a friend’s kids had Christmas, or picking up the phone when someone he knew needed help, it was easy to see what Greg treasured.
My heart hurts for his family and many, very close friends.
Sophia and Family, My deepest and heartfelt condolences in the loss of Gregory. I have fond memories of him and our families during our childhood. May he rest in peace where the righteous repose, and may his Memory be Eternal in the hearts of all who love him.
My sincere condolences and sympathy for your loss of a loved one,Gregory! Many prayers for everyone! John Hernandez
I first met Greg decades ago in the 1970’s. His sister Sofia and I were friends in HS and I spent a summer staying with the Kono family. He was a brilliant man on many subjects. He was knowledgeable about so many things. The funniest memory I have of him (one of many) is when he showed Rocky how to cook a hotdog with wires and 2 batteries.. He was an amazing conversationalist, always polite and happy to converse with me when ever I saw him. I recently visited Greg a few weeks ago. He made me a video of Irish songs and gifted me some Irish keepsakes from his treasure collection. We talked of the old days and laughed a lot. Such a unique and truly gifted person, a few words that I think of when I think of Greg are gracious, funny, kind, honorable, interesting. RIP friend.
