Harriet Lavonne Skoge, age 87 years of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 26, 2020. Dear Colleen, John, family and friends of Harriet,

My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this sad time for your loss of a wonderful woman. I remember Harriet from many years ago, I think it was when John and Colleen were married. She was a very high energy person with a great sense of humor and fun to be around. Love, Steve in Alaska.

Our Deepest Sympathy to the Family of Harriet Skoge. I only met Harriet twice (The first time at John and Colleen’s wedding. The second time a few years ago when Dale and I went to vist John and Colleen and family.)however, she left a lasting impression. She had a great sense of humor and seemed to enjoy life. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

Harriet was a kind neighbor who always had a smile and a wave. She would sit on her front porch and watch the neighborhood life go by. She loved her house and took pride in her yard and flowers. Every spring we would look forward to her flowers and know that spring was here. We would stop by and visit her on the porch and she would talk about the latest things going on. Harriet will be missed and I still look for her on the porch with a cup of something in her hands watching the island and life go by.
