SIEVERS, Helen E. (Schlichtig) Feb 27, 1926 – Jan 4, 2013 Age 86 of Ralston, NE. Born at home in Omaha to the late Frank J. and Anna U. Kauth Schlichtig. Preceded in death by brothers and sisters-in-law, William and Mildred of Hyattsville, MD, Frank and Pearl of Omaha, Conrad of Gretna, NE; sister and brother-in-law, Colin and Pauline Kiggins of Torrance, CA. Survived by beloved husband of 66 years, Heinz W. Ben Sievers; son, Larry Sievers (Yvonne); daughter, Robin R. Muth (Raymond); grandchildren: Michelle, Sheila, Stacey, Jed and Heather; great-grandchildren: Desiree, Chloe, Reese, Brynn, Brooke and Donovan; sisters, Elsa Hangren (Win) and Louise Marvin (Billiey D). Helen was proud to have been a member of the Omaha District Corps of Engineers Wives; Past President of the Wives of the U.S. Submarine Veterans of WWII; Ralston American Legion Post 373 Auxiliary; FOE South Omaha Aerie 154; and Tangier Shrine. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 6, 3pm to 5pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Monday, January 7 at 1pm at the West Center Chapel. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to Ralston American Legion Auxiliary.
