December 11, 1932 – February 13, 2024

Helen Elaine (Strell) Heldt passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 13, 2024, with Raymond Heldt, her beloved husband of 68 years, and their five children by her side. Preceded in death by her father, Philip Strell; mother, Alice Hartman Strell; sister and brother-in-law, Phyllis and Edwin Booth; son-in-law, Mark Roxburgh; great- grandson, Fox Spain. Survived by her husband, Raymond; daughter, Cindy Swendroski (Frank); daughter, Marilyn Brandt (Terry); daughter, Lynnette Roxburgh; son, Russell Heldt (Carrie); daughter, Diane Spain (Sean); brother, James Strell (Barbara); 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Her family is deeply grateful they were graced with her generous spirit, loving heart, and the time God allowed this beautiful woman into our lives.

VISITATION: Friday, February 16^th, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler, West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Rd. Omaha, NE

FUNERAL SERVICE: Saturday, February 17th, 11:00 a.m. at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, 20500 W. Maple Rd., Elkhorn, NE.

To the Heldt family,, Helen will be greatly missed. She was a beautiful woman that that with the help of Ray raised a beautiful family. I am lucky enough to be good friends with her daughter Lynnette. There were four of us from high school, we not only had to answer to our moms. We had to answer to three other moms and Helen was one of them.. much sympathy and prayers to you all during this difficult time. Your mother’s endearing legacy is carried on through all of you
