On behalf of the Bertagni children (Sue, Monsignor Ted, Nancy, Steve, Tina & Jody), we send our deepest condolences to the Rotella family. Helen was such a beautiful, kind soul and holds a special place in our hearts. We have such fond memories of the bond she & Louis Sr. shared with our parents, Ted & Mary Bertagni and of playing with Louis Jr and Maria as we had our “Sunday Meal” with our grandparents (Ned & Rose Bertagni) who lived right across the street from them. We have all decided to make Helen’s “Chicken Cacciatore ” recipe in her honor. All of you are in our thoughts and prayers!

I am the daughter of Richard and Marilyn (Rotella) Weak. I would like to express my deepest sympathies to my cousins Louis and Maria and all of your families. Growing up, I always thought Aunt Helen as the most glamorous and sophisticated woman. She was just as beautiful on the inside too. That opinion never changed. She is bringing that class to heaven with her! I hope she is enjoying every second of heaven because she certainly deserves it. By the way, I still make her chicken cacciatore recipe also.
