Henrietta E. Caballero
April 30, 1939 – April 21, 2022
Henrietta E. “Queta” Caballero age 82, went to her heavenly home on April 21, 2022. She went peacefully with her children by her side.
Preceded in death by parents, Bridigo and Eleanor Becerra; husband, Jose M. Caballero, Sr. and sons, Jose M. Caballero, Jr. and Michael Caballero, Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, John Caballero, Stephanie Grabenschroer, Christina Kaan (Bob Brown), Annette Caballero, Allison Courtney (Jeff), Rose Gomez (Richard), and Herbert Caballero (LeeAnn); daughter-in-law Vonda Caballero; 33 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; sister at heart, Pat Drake, and special friend Jan Kidder.
Henrietta was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on April 30, 1939 to Bridigo and Eleanor Becerra. She graduated from Mercy High School, Omaha, Nebraska in 1957. She married Jose M. Caballero, November 23, 1957 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She worked at Royal Insurance Company for 10 years.
Henrietta’s greatest achievements were as a dedicated mother and grandmother. She was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, the Blessed Virgin Mary and her church. Her favorite football teams were the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Kansas City Chiefs. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, cooking, watching Jeopardy, travel and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Mercy High School, Omaha, NE., 1501 S. 48th Street, Omaha, NE 68106.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Tuesday, April 26th at 10am at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 5912 S. 36th St. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Dear Caballero family, so sorry for your loss of your Mom. I remember what a wonderful, selfless, and caring person she was.I also remember her happy disposition . Love you all, Kantanavicius family❤
I’m so sorry to hear of her death. Please accept my condolences. I know her son Herb Caballero. He is a really good man. God bless the whole Caballero family. They now have an angel in Heaven
