Hoyt Samuel Langholz
January 12, 1929 – September 9, 2019
Age 90 years. He was born in Walnut, Iowa. Retired Civil Service Worker and Painter for Offutt Air Force Base. Graduate of Technical High School. Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was assigned to the U.S.S. Philippine receiving the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabell Lew (Fiss) Langholz; parents, Johanhus and Pearl (Smith) Langholz; and an infant brother. He is survived by his children, Craig (Ann), Cheryl Swalberg; Dean (Mary), Carla Conroy (Brian), Shannon Langholz; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren
Family will receive friends Saturday, September 14th, 2019, from 8:30-10:00 a.m. at West Center Chapel, followed by 10:30a.m. Graveside Services with Military Honors US Navy Honor Guard at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Nebraska Humane Society.

Again, I’m very sorry for the loss of your father, Carla. and for your family’s loss. From the information above, he must have been a great patriot and dedicated to serving his country for as long as possible, in any capacity. Will donate to the Nebraska Humane Society in his memory. Take care.
