Castro, Ida Aug 29, 1921 ~ Dec 4, 2011 Ida lived her life with a heart full of love for family and friends alike. Her demeanor was gentle, positive and happy. She left no stone untouched in her efforts to be of service to family and friends. She was passionate about her faith. She was a long time member of the ladies guild at St. Thomas More catholic church. Ida is preceded in death by husband, Joseph (Peppi) Castro. She is survived by sons and daughters in law, Thomas N. and Marilyn Castro, Joseph M. and Karen Castro; daughters and sons in law, Jean Marie and Don Miller, Patricia and Steve Gound; grandchildren: Cindy, Andrea, Tina, Emil James, Ryan (Katie), Matthew, Ashley, Christopher; step-grandchildren Ben and Julie; and great grandchild-Nicholas. VIGIL SERVICE Friday 7p.m., West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL, Saturday, 9:30 a.m., West Center Chapel to St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Friday 5-7 p.m., West Center Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Thomas More Catholic Church or American Cancer Society.
