Kracher, Inez “Gene” Jul 27, 1921 Jan 20, 2014 Preceded in death by parents, Vance and Winifred Cox; husbands: Dr. Russell Ross Williams, Einar Viren and Robert Kracher; son, Jeffrey Ross Williams. Survived by children: Susan (Rick) Banta, Jennifer (Steve) Schmitz and Mike (Kim) Williams; grandchildren: Molly (Banta) and Cengiz Vural, Amanda Schmitz, Spencer (Kris) Schmitz, Jessica (Williams) and Ryan Rodenburg, Ashton Williams and Ross Williams. Gene also has four great-grandsons: Ethan Vural, Eli Schmitz, Henry and Jack Rodenburg. She was born in Wellston, Ohio and attended Ohio State University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Gene had many friends, loved them and was loved by them. She was the ultimate caregiver of all people and animals. Gene also loved her church, Central Presbyterian, and was extremely active in many facets of church life. Devoted to her family, she was involved in any activity that enriched them. The family sincerely thanks the healthcare practitioners from Alegent Creighton Lakeside Hospital who cared for her with such compassion. We especially want to thank Dr. Ganesan, who went above and beyond in ministering to her and her family. SERVICES Thursday, January 23rd at 11am, West Center Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Nebraska Humane Society.
