I am SO, SO very sorry to hear of Irene’s passing. My sister Cathy ( ST Thomas Moore Parish) called me this evening to tell me about her passing.. I so enjoyed visiting her when I was in Omaha. We had numerous discussions about religion, politics and Italian food!!! I remember meeting her years ago at a Ryan H.S. class Reunion years ago… we seemed to just click and talk.. We had a lovely time… I then kept in touch through the years with phone calls, and when visiting my family in Omaha. I would ALWAYS call and stop by for a visit. I will so cherish the painting she did for me of my basset hound Lucy she insisted on doing. I will miss you and our many visits SOOOO much…. I am so sad to that I can never visit with you again…. The world was a much better place with you here!!! RIP my dear, dear friend….GODSPEED!! you will ALWAYS be in my heart… All my love forever… Caren Circo

I am grateful Irene’s passing was peaceful – and that she heard her daughters’ voices! But I am saddened that she passed during this time when family couldn’t be at her side and that you all didn’t have the option to be with her in person. She was a lovely lady. I feel fortunate that we shared some holidays with her. I will forever think of her when I use lemon or lime zest! Prayers for you during this time of sadness.
Thank you Sheila you always had a special place in mom’s heart love you Chris

She was so very proud of her heritage and her grandmother’s place in it’s history. My deepest heartfelt condolences for comfort and peace to all of you.
