J. Thomas “Tom” Lalley
September 5, 1935 – October 17, 2018
Preceded in death by parents, Rex and Irene. Survived by wife, Janet Lalley; children: Kathy Dewell (Kent), Michelle Lalley Blake, Angela Schnebel (Michael), Theresa Lalley (Deron Breemes), Karen Lalley, and Steve Lalley (Diana); grandchildren: Mitchell (Kristina), Martha, Christian, Callan, Tiernan, Tara, Ryan, Sarah, and Allison; great-granddaughter, Hazel; sister, Mary Ellen Coombs; brother, Rex P. Lalley; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 21st from 1pm to 3pm at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Monday, October 22nd at 10:30am, Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 3405 S. 118th St. Interment: Tuesday, Oct. 23rd at 11am, Omaha National Cemetery. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association.

My most sincere sympathy, compassion and prayers to all the family. Tom’s earthly presence and faithful service to God, family, friends and country has ended, but he remains forever alive in the heavenly presence of the Lord, his light shining brightly on all those he loves. Peace and comfort to you!
My deepest sympathies to the Lalley family. When I was getting started in my office here over two decades ago, Tom was so helpful with tips on Development, fundraising, etc. I have always appreciated his kindness and advice. Tom and all of you will be in our prayers!
