Words are truly unable to convey the sense of loss that so many must feel with Jake’s passing. As it seemed that Jake was always one to greet with a smile and inspire laughter through his off kilter thoughts and opinions. I an honored to have been part of many misadventures with Jake, and truth be told I will cherish those memories as each day passes. Whenever I think of him, it will be in a kind light as he was truly a good man. He will undoubtedly be missed by any and all that were blessed to have had him been part of their life.

This loss is almost too much to bear. My heart is broken for Melissa and Hunter, and Pam and Joy, and all of us who were touched by Jake’s warmth, humor, loyalty, and charismatic energy. Jake was as devoted and faithful of a husband and father as I have ever known. His life is a testament to how much he was loved, and how much love he had to give. I am forever grateful for his friendship, and I take comfort in knowing that he has been welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven, where there is no illness, no pain, no suffering, and no impatience, so he will not mind waiting to see us all again.

    Dear Melissa, Hunter & Pam,

Words cannot express our thoughts and feelings. Jake is one of our favorite clients and we have always talked of Jake & Ava and the bond they had. She is a special girl and Jake knew that. We loved seeing the bond they had and how much she wanted to please him. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers and Jake & Ava will never be forgotten.
