Jim was a long time Cosmopolitan Club member and served at his local club, his Federation, and at the International Level as International President. He was also one of several members who had the foresight to put together our Mobile Diabetes Unit. It has grown today to be the premier mobile diabetes unit in the country.
    Jim will be greatly missed!

CeCe and I have some wonderful memories of our visits with Jim and Sue. A Cosmopolitan fact that some might not be aware of. Jim was a very dedicated Cosmopolitan, but he also was able to share all that he enjoyed from being a Cosmopolitan with many other people. I believe he sponsored over 60 new members into Cosmopolitan, probably more than any other member.

So sorry for your loss. Jim was one of a kind. A Cosmopolitan in the highest and best sense of the word and curmudgeonly in the best sense of that word! Colorful, passionate and tenacious for what he cared about and what he thought was important. Cosmopolitan, its work internationally and in the Cornbelt Federation is better because of Jim. We are all grateful!

I did not know Jim well because of my relativly short tenure as a Cosmo, yet he did make a positive impression with his fun loving spirit and love of people. Sue, I wish you and your family well over the near future.

I’ll always remember Jim for his unbridled enthusiasm and love for the Mobile Diabetes Connection as well as his wry sense of humor as we bantered back and forth and exchanged jokes. In his own way he was an inspiration to all Cosmopolitans as we strive to carry out our mission. We love you, big guy, and you will be sorely missed.
