James E. Davenport
June 27, 1954 – June 28, 2021
James Edward Davenport of Omaha, Nebraska died peacefully in his home, with his wife, Cheryl, and his dog, Cooper, at age 67.
Jim was an incredible husband, father, and grandfather. He was so very proud of everyone in his family. Jim worked tirelessly over the years to become an entrepreneur as owner of J and J Lawn Sprinkler Company. He was funny, loving, had a heart of gold, always a prankster with a wicked sense of humor, and always had the grandkids laughing! Jim would help anyone who asked if he could. He had a fire for life and lived it with a passion. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl; blended family, Melissa and TJ, James and Kathleen, Joe and Anne, Jenny and Kurt; shared 12 grandchildren by age, Layla, Mya, Kennedy, Teagan, Sloane, Savi, Kaden, Kohen, Kollins, Brooklyn, Morgan, Victoria; in-laws, Mike and Char Stella; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Cindy Corritore. Preceded in death by father and mother, John and Kazuko Cavric; beloved brother, Allen.
The family is having a Celebration of Life Visitation on Saturday, July 24th from 2pm to 4pm at Heafey Hoffman Dvorak and Cutler, 7805 West Center Road. Casual dress.

So very sorry to hear about Jim passing away. Jim worked on our sprinkler system. He was so very kind. RIP Jim.

Sorry for your loss Cheryl, I didn’t know Jim but from everything I’ve heard he was a great man. I know he loved you and the family a great deal. Prayers for you and the family.
I have known Jim for many years…he never failed to put a smile on my face. His presence on this earth will be missed. My condolences to the family. May God bless and keep you all.

So very sorry for your loss. Jim was my “sprinkler man” for many years. He also hung and finishes the drywall in our basement. His humor was infectious!
