Preceded in death by parents, James E. and Mary Alice Loftus; sister, Rosemary Loftus. Survived by wife, Dorothy “Dotti” Loftus; daughters, Christi Wood (Gary) and Tracy Schanou (Erik); son, Dan Loftus; grandchildren: Talia, Olivia, Amelia, Lauren, Christian and Lindsey; brother, Larry Loftus (Marianne); sister, Kelly Traenkenschuh (Leonard); nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 14th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. FUNERAL: Friday, February 15th at 2pm at the West Center Chapel. Interment: Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

    Jim was my boss for 4 years at the Army Corps of Engineers, Drafting Branch. He was always a fair minded person with a positive personality and a great sense of humor. My thoughts go out to his family and close friends. Truly a loss of a special man.

    Yes, Jim had a great smile and always a good attitude.
