We extend our prayers and condolences to wife, Jill, and all the family.
I am fortunate to have known Jim and remain permanently in his debt.
As a husband, father, family elder, medical professional, he was a “promise keeper”.
He cared for my aging parents, my new wife, my first born child.
Thank you, Jim.
“He will raise you up on eagles wings, bear you on the breath of dawn,
make you to shine like the sun, and hold you in the palm of his hand.”
Our deepest sympathies to Dr. Elston’s family and friends and patients. He was an amazing doctor with skills that outshined all the other obstetricians and I am forever grateful for the guidance, his values, and the care he gave us. He was so proud of his family, and I enjoyed hearing about his children. May God comfort you as you as you are missing him here on earth, but rejoice he now has eternal life. God Bless.
To the family of Dr Elston: just want you to know how wonderful he was to our family starting with my mother who was one of his first patients. Then when it was my turn to have children he delivered my three boys and came in the middle of the night taking care of me thru 2 miscarriages. He was many of my families Doctor he delivered 3 generations of my family. He was so nice always took the time to answer questions give advice he’d say come in my office and we’d talk a bit. He always asked how my boys were doing. Just so caring. Thank you for letting his patients be so taken care of taking time from his own family. He was truly remarkable. My condolences to your family from my family.
Mike and Kim, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Clarice and Bob Murnan

To my Aunt Jill, May God’s love and grace surround you and bring you comfort at this time. To my cousins I have many good memories of family trips, gatherings, and Harry stories. My Uncle Jim I love you and will always miss you. May the Elston family have God’s comfort around them at this time.
Our deepest condolences for Dr. Elston. Shari is a dear friend of mine and I have very fond memories of the Elston family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Having just lost my father last Fall, I understand and feel for the pain you are all going through. It is comforting to have faith. He had a wonderful life, wonderful wife and family. Fondly, Beth and Mike Stanek
I was sorry to hear of Dr. Elston passing away. My deepest sympathy to the Elston Family, especially to Jan and Mike that I knew from our days of living in Omaha. It has been many years since I have seen Dr. Elston but remember him as always doting over his children, being a Big Red fan, having an easy laugh and always having a Heineken Dark in the fridge that he graciously allowed me to partake. May he rest in peace.
Dr. Elston, thanks for your help on December 24th, 1968. I was born that day. Much appreciation. -Daniel Flott
