James “Jim” Follon
July 31, 1940 – December 1, 2022
Jim lived a full and happy life, radiating warmth and acceptance, except on the golf course where he played to win. Jim is survived by his wife, Karen; daughters, Jamie Welsh (Rick) and Stacey Follon; and the lights of his life, his grandchildren: John, Kiki, Becca, James, and Charlie. Thank you to the health professionals at Nebraska Medicine and VA Dialysis Center for the excellent care, respect, and kindness they showed Jim while treating his illnesses.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Sunday, December 18th, at 1PM. at Countryside Community Church, 13130 Faith Plaza, Omaha.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Nebraska Medicine Excellence Fund (#01145230), Box 8255 Lincoln, NE 68501, or the Dr. Sue Follon Scholarship fund at the University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls, IA.
