Jim enjoyed a long career at the Omaha VA Medical Center. He retired on his 58th birthday. Jim spent his next several years showing horses, trail riding with friends, traveling, and enjoying time with his grandkids. He participated in the River City Roundup Trail Ride more than 25 times and attended as many team penning events as he could.
He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. His love of a good joke always brought smiles to a room.
