Jim was one of the greatest men I have ever known. As a young man Jim gave me consoul and encouragement. He was a tremendous influence on my life for which I am very grateful. I look foward to the day I can see Jim again in heaven. My heartfelt sympathy to Mary, boys, and family. God bless, Denny Cordle

Jim & I met in 1989 at Alexander & Alexander (now Aon), where Jim ran the trucking dept. & I’d just come aboard to manage self-insurance programs. We were privileged to be part of a truly exceptional group of 160-some insurance pros in that Omaha office. More importantly to me, I soon learned that Jim was among the handful of Bible believers working there. Over time I came to treasure Jim’s always sound professional advice; his personal friendship, & especially his Christian fellowship. When I later left A&A for other challenges that were offered, our regular contact eventually ceased, as too often happens in this passing world. But any such regrets on my part vanish in the knowledge that Jim & I shall most CERTAINLY greet one another before long in that joyous, blessed, everlasting Kingdom of our LORD Jesus Christ. Amen! Revelation 21:4…

I first met Jim in the early 70s thru church which started as the Upper Room them the name change to Country Bible. Working on different projects as well as being a Deacon . I learned so much from Jim about growing in Christ. One night Jim and I took his sons and my boys to a Professional Wrestling match in Omaha. We both laughed so much watching and listening to the boys. Every time I think of Jim will always put a smile on my face. Someday I will Jim in Heaven. What a day that will be. Condolences to Mary and sons. God Bless this Family!

What wonderful memories. I still recall sitting in Jim & Mary’s home as we discussed founding Country Bible Church (now Reach). I still smile as I recall Kirby saying he wanted to be able to wear jeans and Jim responded with as long as I can still wear a suit. Jim’s keen mind and strong character kept us all focused on what really mattered. Prayers and hugs Mary.
