My wife, Beth and I worked with Jim for quite a few years in Management and Disposal Branch of Real Estate Division, Omaha District Corps of Engineers. I always enjoyed Jim’s sense of humor and apparent love of life. He was a good man and we thought highly of him. We both send our condolences to the family. May Jim bask in his eternal heavenly reward.

Millie: Chris and I are in Sioux Falls with relatives for Thanksgiving and thus will not be able to be personally present. We will however be present in spirit and send our condolences, prayers and thoughts. Please let me know if there is anything we can do.

Dear Millie, Marianne, Steven & David. We were very sorry to learn of Jim’s passing. We are praying God’s comfort for all of you and your families. We pray the God of all comfort will comfort you in your sorrow in the loss of Jim with the comfort only He can give. Also, that with the comfort only God can give, that you will be able to comfort others going through similar difficulties. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) You are a dear and precious family always there for us when growing up and Millie and Jim there for Mary Fran through thick and thin. Lot’s of good memories of all your family! My wife Liz and I are currently living in Haiti and pastoring an International English-Speaking Church in Port-Au-Prince. Our son Joey is in his first year of University at Liberty University in Virginia. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Love in Jesus, Dan & Liz Carl
