Survived by wife, Mary; 2 sons, Shawn and Ryan Shanahan; 2 daughters, Clare and (Dion) LoSole, Kathleen Shanahan; 2 grandchildren, Isabel and Scarlet LoSole; 3 brothers and spouses, John (Jane) Shanahan, David (Linda) Shanahan, George (Barbara) Shanahan; sister and spouse, Ellen (Herman) Weist, all Omaha; many nieces and nephews.
