Jim was a very good man. I met him two years ago when I moved into the neighborhood. He would always give my dog treats and stop over when I was outside to chat.

    Jim will be truly missed.

Jim was a very generous man when he had his own shop down on Cuming Street in 18th I believe, 40+ years ago. My dad had a little fender bender on his Chevy Cavalier, and the insurance company said they would pay $750 towards fixing it. Jim did a very fine job of restoring dad‘s car to its original luster, and then charged my dad only $400. That’s the kind of man Jim was,

Sending my condolences to the family. Jimmy was my neighbor. He brought me a peanut butter pie just 2 weeks ago. I will cherish the time and memories we had together.

Jim was the best neighbor ever, just like his parents before him. He will be sorely missed! The block will have to elect a new mayor : )
