Ryan and Sandy – So sorry for your loss. So sad to see your mom’s name in obituaries. I was a good friend of your mom’s in nursing school and I have so many good memories of your mom. I remember when she was just finishing nursing school and was pregnant with Ryan and had appendicitis and this was just before her nursing boards. She was so happy when she was expecting both of you and loved being your mom. Somehow lost contact with your mom after I left Bergan Mercy Hospital where we both worked.
Again my deepest sympathies as you lost your wonderful mother far too soon in her life. I will be thinking of Jan’s family during this difficult time and hope your wonderful memories sustain you all.

Jan Grove was one of my “best friends” growing up in the Keystone area in the 1960’s. There were several of us who hung out together, got into mischief, but enjoyed our lives. Jan was at the center of many things due to her imagination, brains, and rebelliousness. Don’t get me wrong, she was a keeper and was a loyal friend to all of us. I am so sorry to see that she is no longer here to inspire others, but will be remembered with love and good memories. My best to Jill and Ted, and Sandie and Ryan… Also your kids…
    Sincerely, Jan T. Helms

Ryan and Sandy I am very sorry for your loss . Your mother will be dearly missed. Her laugh and beautiful smile and her giving of her time and helping others made it easy to fall in love with her. Thank you for such a wonderful woman she will be greatly missed . I will be praying for you and your family in this time of grief . I regret not getting to meet you before the time in the hospital but thankful I was able to be there for her and I saw two beautiful children a lot like her in many ways. We all were blessed to have Jan in our lives and she will live in our memories forever ! God bless her and your family may your pain be replaced with joy knowing she is in heaven and smiling down on us. Thank you again for the happiness she brought me in my life and others as well . She will be missed !
