Jane E. Nimmo
December 7, 1918 – February 10, 2019
Jane passed away just two months after the celebration of her 100th birthday. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob. Survived by her sister, Marge Lukas, and her children: Susan Yates, Linda (Jim) Kasher, Sally (Carol Crosland), and Nancy (Mark) Vanicek; 16 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
Jane’s interest in others resulted in warm friendships throughout her lifetime. She was an avid bowler until her later years, and she loved watching sports on TV, especially tennis, golf, and Husker football. Jane’s sarcastic wit was legendary. Her “Jane-isms” are forever enshrined in her family’s loving hearts.
A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 on Wednesday, February 13th at Christ the King Catholic Church (654 S. 86th St.) for family and friends.
Donations may be made in Jane’s memory to St. Cecilia Cathedral grade school, 3869 Webster St, Omaha, NE 68131.

Katie and I were saddened to read of Jeanne‘s passing. We so enjoyed visiting with her on her birthday two months ago and seeing all of the “girls“. We are on South Padre Island in Texas for the month of February and unfortunately will not be able to attend the service
