Jane Maren Crawford
March 29, 1939 – March 9, 2019
Jane Maren Crawford, age 79, formerly of Council Bluffs, died in Omaha on March 9, 2019. She was born on March 29, 1939, in Onawa, daughter of Harry and Esther (Kortman) Mortensen. Jane graduated from Moorhead High School in 1956, and Wayne State College in 1958 with a teaching certificate. She taught for two years before starting her family. She married James G. Crawford on June 14, 1959, at Moorhead Christian Church in Moorhead, IA.
Survived by daughters, Julie Lamp and Jolene Bunce (Tim); son, Jim Crawford (Melissa); five grandchildren: Jennifer Sather (Christian), Allison Crawford, Amanda Bunce, and Tyler and Lindsey Bunce; sister, Jill Eilers (Tom); sister-in-law, Ruth Beyer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, George Mortensen; a son in infancy; her husband in 2005; and a son-in-law, Brad Lamp.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Monday, March 18th at 11am, West Center Chapel.

So sorry to hear of Jane’s passing. I have so many wonderful memories of Sundays and holidays at your grandparent’s home in Moorhead. Jane was always in the middle of the fun.
Missing all of you and being with you to celebrate Aunt Jane’s life. We know that she is with Uncle Jim and watching down on us all.
Jane was a classmate of mine and good friend all the years that she lived in Moorhead. My deepest sympathy to her family. She was always full of laughter and fun to be with. Blessings to the family.
