Jane Marie (McEvoy) Juedes
January 19, 1957 – October 12, 2019
Preceded in death by mother, Ann “Sue” McEvoy; mother-in-law, Burdean Juedes; nephews, Joey and Matthew Rhoades. Survived by husband, Gerald “Shorty” Juedes; father Jack (Sharon) McEvoy; siblings: Pat “Sandy” (Smith) McEvoy, Mary Jo Rhoades, Mike (Lori) McEvoy, Rita McEvoy, Jim McEvoy, Sue McEvoy, and Paul McEvoy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Patricia Peterson, Mike (Barb) Juedes, Roger (Nancy) Juedes, Roxanne (Ted) Davis; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation begins on Wednesday, October 16 at 4pm, with family receiving friends from 4pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. FUNERAL: Thursday, October 17th at 10:30am at Omaha Bible Church, 78th & State St. Interment: Prospect Hill Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Omaha Bible Church or Waterloo Fire and Rescue.

My deepest sympathies to Jane’s husband and her entire family. Jane starting cutting my hair when I was 18 years old and she was working in a shop in Waterloo, NE. I followed her when she opened her own shop in Venice. She was a wonderful hairdresser and a great person. My husband, mother also went to Jane for their hair needs. We will miss her and her contributions!

My deepest sympathy to Jane’s entire family. All of you met the world to her. Jane started doing my hair while working in Waterloo. I too followed her to her shop in Venice. I enjoyed Monday appointments so I could have her all to myself. We laughed a lot through the years and occasionally shed a tear or two. As she once said “I know a lot about your family and you know a lot about mine”. She was truly a kind and wonderful lady! I will mist her.She loved all of you so much.
So sorry for your loss. Jane was a wonderful person. Thank God for memories!
Heaven just had a wonderful reunion. Sue will have. Her precious daughter with her for eternity.. Jane was a great friend. She will be missed.
My sincerest condolences for Jane’s family. Jane was so caring with my mom even when she was not the easiest to get along with towards the end. Jane always had a smile for you. Jane will be missed by all she touched.
Jane has been my hairdresser for so many years. Started with her in the older building. Always did a fantastic job and always was cheerful and happy! So sad to lose such a great person. My condolences to all the family. She will truly be missed!
