Janet E. “Liz” Lauer
May 14, 1942 – Jan 15, 2018
Preceded in death by parents, Esther and Dick Looby. Survived by beloved husband of 56 years, Jim Lauer; children: Beth Moberg (Jeff), Pat Lauer (Amy), and Jane Hooppaw (Bryan); adored grandchildren: Paige, Grace, Clara, Colin, and Maggie; brother: Dick Looby; sisters, Mary Niven and Jean Fritz; many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. A special thank you to the staff at Lakeside Hospital for their loving care of Liz.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 18th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL on Friday, Jan. 19th at 10:30am at Church of the Holy Spirit, 520 S. 18th St. in Plattsmouth, NE. Private Family Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to: St. John the Baptist School in Plattsmouth, NE; or St. Patrick Catholic School in Elkhorn, NE.

My prayers for you and your family. Liz was the secretary at St. Thomas More School when I taught there.
