INTERMENT: Resurrection Cemetery

Jean L. Carrica, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2024, at the age of 93, with family by his side, after a short illness.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Maria Carrica, his beloved wife, Peggy, infant daughter Jeanne, granddaughter Maria Grace Beal; brother Pierre, sisters – Sister Annette Carrica, S.C. (Sisters of Charity) and Therese Zerwas.
He is survived by his children: Annette McGarrahan (Keith) of St. Louis, MO, Brigitte Langdon (Mark), Michelle Beal (Jack), Loren Carrica, John Carrica, all of Omaha; 10 grandchildren: Kate McGarrahan, Jennifer Langdon, Michael Langdon, Kristen Langdon, Gerard Beal, Fulton Beal (Melissa), Elise Beal, Jack Beal, Luke Beal, Michael Beal; 4 great-grandchildren: Emma, Molly, Rosie and Jack Louis Beal; brother Jean Baptiste Carrica (Lorrie deceased), sister-in-law Frances Carrica (Pierre deceased), brother-in-law Dave Zerwas (Therese deceased); many nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered for his deep Catholic faith, wonderful storytelling, and rich sense of humor.
In lieu of memorials, Masses are requested.
