Jeanine B. (Getz) Milne departed this life aged 63 years on February 1, 2023.
Jeanine was born in East St. Louis in 1959. She moved to Omaha in middle school and graduated from Burke High School in 1977. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She married Leland Milne in 1982. They raised 3 daughters: Samantha, Andrea, and Christina, in Papillion, where she started and ran her prosperous accounting business. Throughout her life, she enjoyed playing the clarinet, singing, and dancing. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed traveling with her husband, but most of all, she loved spending time with her 6 grandchildren. Jeanine lived for the future; she determinedly put her best foot forward. She will be dearly remembered for her keen mind, her bright spirit, and her exceptionally generous heart.
Jeanine is survived by husband, Leland; daughters: Samantha (Matthew), Andrea (Cooper), and Christina (Eric); grandchildren: Graham, Noah, Alexander, Theodore, Ada, Donovan, and two on the way that were already loved by her; 3 sisters; 5 nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
