Jeanne M. O’Connell

Jeanne Margaret O’Connell April 18, 1937 – June 21, 2016 Age 79 Preceded in death by husband Donald O’Connell LtCol USAF (Ret) and parents Russell & Margaret Sumerwell Survived by daughters Lora Ottoson (Dave), Lisa Linder-Stephenson (John), Joan McClure (Brad), Catherine Maiellaro (Todd), Laurie Bren (Dale) Teressa Barnes (Curtis); 13 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren Jeanne spent two years studying art at the University of Iowa. Upon leaving the university, Jeanne joined the Red Cross as a volunteer. She and her late husband traveled extensively with the Air Force before retiring in Omaha where Jeanne enjoyed a successful real estate career. She also volunteered as a Team Mates mentor, was a long time member of the Bellevue Artists Association, and was involved in Kiwanis.
