I’ve always believed that God calls the best of us first because they don’t need to be among us any longer, Jeff was called by the Lord before we thought he would be, he will be missed but his love and kindness will live forever in our memories. Until we meet again in eternal life.

I am at a loss for words right now! Jeffrey and I worked together for many many years.on many projects! He was most definitely the best Project Manager to work here at Starwood/LNR! I just loved how very organized he always was! Things will not be the same around here, and I will miss him terribly! My sincere Condolences to Lyle and Sherma, to his siblings, nieces and nephews, to his friends all over, he spoke about you all every day! Jeffrey regularly shared with us, his trips spent with his family, whether it was a special outing, funny moments, or just home for the holidays. My heart is heavy and I hope everyone finds comfort and strength during this difficult time, remembering his laughter, his smile, and his kindness. ‘Memories are a gift to treasure, ours of you, will last forever’- xoxo

My deepest condolences to Jeffrey’s family. As you have already heard, Jeffrey was so proud of all of you and he shared pictures and stories of his visits, even including the John Deere!! I worked with Jeffrey for many years, and he was not only a valued colleague but a good friend to all of us at Starwood. May you find comfort in knowing that his brilliant smile, his infectious laugh, and his beautiful soul will live on in our hearts and hopefully be reflected in our actions. He was the epitome of a life well lived.

  • Cindy Osborne Posted March 10, 2020 2:06 pm

Jeff has been one of my most special friends for the past 15 years. From the first day we discovered we were living across the hall from each other on South Beach, we have loved spending time together – days trips to the keys, antique show and art festivals days, and even entire days hanging out together virtually, sending funny texts back and forth and laughing our hearts out. We also spent many hours talking about real issues in each other’s lives, letting each other be seen and known accurately. He was a treasure of a friend. I miss him terribly and carry him with me every day for the rest of my life.

  • Alicia Greene Posted March 11, 2020 9:53 am

I am truly sorry for your loss. I would like to offer your family my deepest and most sincere condolences during this difficult time. I share in your grief at our sad loss. My heart hurts at the loss, Jeffrey was a wonderful man with an amazing heart. He was such a great friend and I so enjoyed our many years working together at Starwood/LNR (even with me in the Charlotte office) and the wonderful friendship we shared. His laughter was infectious, his smile genuine and his humor was uniquely Jeffrey. His free spirit and love for life, and his love for those he cared about most always shined thru him, Rest easy “my squeaky wheel”…what an imprint your footprints have left on our hearts. Heaven gained one absolutely amazing angel, a day won’t go by that I won’t think of you but I know you are watching over us all. Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll MISS YOU until we meet again. My love to you always my sweet friend.

  • Cindy King Posted March 15, 2020 4:18 pm

I was so blessed to have gotten to know Jeffrey after visiting our gallery in the Keys over the past 12 years. Jeffrey is just one of those beautiful and rare people who brings light and laughter to anyone he makes contact with. I use the present tense because that kind of magical presence never goes away after death.
And as my heart goes out to his family, friends and coworkers just thinking about him right now still makes me smile. Your work here is done Dear Jeffrey. Enjoy the rest of your journey and we will meet up again on the other side.

  • Rabindra Das Posted March 16, 2020 2:40 am

I was lucky to get an opportunity work with Jeffrey for last 7-8 years.
I am going to miss his whatsApp calls. He used to send me beautiful photographs from his balcony.

I had a tremendous respect for his work ethics, clarity and simplicity.
Over these years, I had found a great friend in Jeffrey.
My deepest condolences. May his soul rest in peace.
