LAYTEN, Jeffrey John, May 28, 1971 – Sep 29, 2010. Age 39; born in Omaha to Jack and Bev Layten. Preceded in death by grandparents, Lee and Velma Boeka, and Jim Layten. Survivors include his wife Courtney; daughters Lexi and Kenzie of Tekamah; parents Bev Layten, Omaha, Jack Layten, Denver, CO; grandmother Jean Layten, Longmont, CO; sister and brother in law Christi and Dan Uhing, Omaha; nieces: Miranda, Mallory, Morgan and Merideth Uhing; nephew, Gage; aunts and uncles: Steve and Kay Layten, Larry and Janie Layten, Kathy and Larry Dvorak, Connie Boeka and Gay Gross-Rhode; cousins: Dan Layten, Kelly (Scott) Wielage and Mike Dvorak. The family will receive friends Sunday, 5pm-7pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Monday at 2:00 PM at Christ Community Church, 404 S. 108 Ave. In lieu of flowers, an educational fund for Lexi and Kenzie has been established.
