Jeffrey “Jeff” was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on July 15, 1966, and passed away on June 28, 2024. Jeff was  preceded in death by his parents, Vasilios and Karan Mantzaris. He is survived by his siblings: Nikolaos Mantzaris, James Mantzaris, Michael Mantzaris (Jacque), Mark Mantzaris (Lezli), Gina Mantzaris, and Lisa Theiler (Bill); nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Jeff had passion for life, fashion, interior design, and flourished in the service industry. He spent many years in the Omaha area working in catering and the restaurant business. In the early ’90s, Jeff relocated to Dallas, Texas, where he served as an apartment manager. Jeff then obtained his real estate license and eventually started his own apartment locating company called Apartment Expo.

Jeff longed to be close to his family and eventually worked his way back to Omaha.

Jeff had a heart of gold and would do anything for his family and friends. He always cherished the times he would travel to visit friends in other cities. He was incredibly caring and kind. He never met a stranger that he didn’t share a smile with.

Jeff loved gardening and took great pride in planting and nourishing flowers throughout the summer months. He would grab an ice cold Dr. Pepper and water and prune flowers every morning. Wherever Jeff lived, the flowers and plants were nothing short of spectacular! His potted plants would turn heads of neighbors and all those who drove or walked by. Jeff also took great pride in mowing and manicuring the lawn. It was always pristine!

Jeff also spent his spare time coloring in daily devotional books. Reading the daily devotions and coloring brought him peace and relaxation. He would often gift others with devotional books and arts supplies.

Jeff had a pure heart and would always tend to those who needed help. Over the last year, Jeff was of incredible support to his brother, Nik. Nik brought Jeff so much joy and provided him with purpose. Jeff was part of Nik’s daily routine. They played pool together, Ms. PAC MAN and Saturday trips to skating. Nik and Jeff were best friends. They also enjoyed doing puzzles together. Nik became Jeff’s gardening assistant and we know he will be watching over him in the days ahead.

Jeff is resting peacefully in eternal life with his parents. He will be a guardian angel to those he loved.

Jeff, you will be missed by many from your honest brutal truth to you contagious smile. From your beam of light when you spoke about your passions of making the yard beautiful to helping me move blocks in my back yard, to talking about how much your sister means to you. Gina, I’m so sorry to you and your family for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to you.
