Jennifer was called home on November 22, 2020, while under the care of Emerald Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Omaha, NE.  She was born May 6, 1983, in Milwaukee, WI, to Colleen Burton-Linson, of Omaha, NE, and Richard Grooms of Owensboro, KY.

Jennifer was greeted at heaven’s door by her maternal grandparents, Henry and Carol Burton; her paternal grandfather, Roy E. Grooms; and uncle, Frankie E. Grooms.  Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Colleen Burton-Linson of Omaha, NE, and Richard (Barbara) Grooms of Owensboro, KY; paternal grandmother, Margaret Grooms of Milwaukee, WI; siblings: Bruce Linson of Omaha, NE, Aljay Linson of Omaha, NE, Natasha Linson of Omaha, NE, MeKayla Linson of Omaha, NE, Samantha (Brian) Tooley of Owensboro, KY, and Melissa (Darius) Walker of Owensboro, KY; her nieces and nephew: Delilah Linson of Omaha, NE, Abigail Walker, Larkin Tooley, and Skyler Walker all of Owensboro, KY; her aunts and uncles: Maggie (Tim) Peterson of North Carolina, Hazel Burrell of Milwaukee, WI, Bonnie (Duncan) Ireland of Milwaukee, WI, Felicia Haskins of Milwaukee, WI and Nancy Grooms of Milwaukee, WI.

Jenny had several close friends that will miss her, but she cherished her friendship with her best friend, since elementary school, Tiffanie Shaw of Sebewaing, MI., and Chrissy Blahak of Omaha, NE.

Private services will be held at a future date.

    I miss u more then words can say u will always be my sister no matter what I miss u so much each day I wish I could talk to u just once more I miss u so much i love u always and forever my sister RIP I love u

    I remember her as a baby and I am so glad I got to reconnect a little bit before she passed away. she was so excited to get to know her Grooms family again, RIP Jennifer
