Jennifer “Jenny” Ann Myers was a caring mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She passed with loving family by her side on May 11th, 2024, at age 53.

Jennifer was born in Carroll, Iowa, to Eugene and Cheryl Beckman on July 3, 1970. She lived in Omaha with her family during her childhood and participated in  sports, dance, enjoying many friends and family activities. After graduating from Westside High School in 1988 , Jennifer worked at the AKSARBEN Racetrack. That experience and a desire to pursue the horse racing circuit  became her passion.   She married Shawn Thomas in Little Rock, Arkansas and   daughter Brittany was born to this union. She later married Rodney Myers, Little Rock , Arkansas and the family welcomed the second daughter, Brooke.

Jennifer was a devoted mother of two and dedicated her life to raising her girls. While doing so, she enjoyed baking , refining the excellent cooking skills she shared at family events.  The Wheel of Fortune was a favorite TV pastime ,and  there was never a puzzle she could not solve.

Jennifer was preceded in death by her former husbands; her mother, Cheryl Beckman; her grandparents, Eugene and Rita Koenig, Gerhardt and Alvina Beckman.

She is survived by her father, Eugene Beckman (Marlene Beckman); daughter Brittany Daniel(Adam Daniel) and grandson ,Weston Daniel; daughter Brooke Myers; siblings, Cynthia Meyers (Arthur) , Adam Beckman (Jean ) , Brian Beckman (Leslie), and many nieces and nephews.

A service to honor Jennifer’s life will be held at 11 am on May 18th, 2024, at Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler Mortuaries. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery. A reception will be held at the funeral home, providing an opportunity for friends and family to come together and share their memories of Jennifer.
