Dear Jim, Ian, Evan, Emma and Jennifer’s family,
We are deeply saddened that Jennifer is no longer among us. Her light shined so brightly on so many. She will be remembered as someone who was like no other. Her endless generosity, heartfelt kindness, example of faith and self-giving, welcoming spirit, deep joy and so much more have left an imprint on the lives of family and friends alike. No one was a stranger to Jennifer In the years since her cancer diagnosis, you have done all that love could do for her. We all need time to grieve, time to come to grips with all that has happened. As you sift through your memories, keep only the best ones that make you smile, and let them slowly heal your broken hearts. We will join and pray with you from Arizona via livestream for the funeral on Thursday. May God hold your hurting hearts in His loving embrace and give you strength to bear your sorrow as you transition from loving Jennifer in presence to loving her in separation.

Jennifer was a great person I have ever known the past several years, she was outgoing, always loved making conversation with her, I loved seeing her at church, church activities, and all other places I saw her. I’ll miss seeing her often as I always did the past several years! She lived life to the fullest is the important thing to remember and she’ll always look over you from this day forward! Thinking of you often at this difficult time with love and light!

  • Dave Dare Posted February 3, 2021 4:22 pm

    Jim and Family:
Jen was a special gift to all of us in the SMM community. Never without an opinion, often times my conscience and guidance on issues where we might disagree (the one about why the boys basketball teams could no longer practice “shirts vs. skins” was particularly memorable), but always with a caring heart, and that “knowing” smile. I will miss my friend Jennifer dearly. The impression she left on myself, and many others, will be lasting. We have no doubt she is in a better place. My deepest sympathies. Dave .
