Survived by wife Mary McKeighan; children and spouses: Matthew McKeighan, Anne and Dr. Pat Specht, John McKeighan, Chad and Lori McKeighan, Suzie and Ben Fogarty, Colleen and Pat Almgren; grandchildren, Emily, Riley, Collin, Trent, Graceanne, Zach, Sarah, Carson, Ellie, Sienna, William and Owen; sisters and brothers-in-law, Renee and Jerome Nelson, Betty and Leroy Drews, Meg Stanesic; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Helen McKeighan; numerous nieces and nephews. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL Tuesday 10am, St. Gerald Catholic Church, 96th and “Q” Streets. Family will receive friends Monday 5-7pm at St. Gerald Catholic Church, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm. Interment, Calvary, with military rites by Benson VFW Post #2503. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for their choice of charitable contributions.

I’ve just found out 6 years after Jerry’s passing, that he is gone. I was Jerry & Mary’s babysitter for Matt, Anne, John & Chad. Suzie and Colleen were born afterwards. Very saddened to hear the news and my condolences to Mary and her children. ~ Renee Wilson (Carmichael, CA)
I was just looking at my Dads obituary from years past and saw your condolence. Its amazing how fast time goes by. My father retired from Farmers Insurance in November of 2010 and passed away in April of 2011. I know that he is with the Lord, I was with him when he passed and I will never forget the peace that surrounded the room after he took his last breath.
