I was saddened to hear about Jess’s passing. My thoughts and sympathies go out to the family. I worked with Jess for several years and enjoyed every day. He was always willing to help and I relied on him several times for advice. The stories he could tell about his life experiences were incredible, and sometimes had me laughing and crying, often at the same time. He was sure proud of his family, and that was obvious to all who worked with him. My sympathy to the family of Jess. RIP Jessie

Here are some of the highlights from my dad’s life. He was most proud of his marriage to my mom and his family.

Jessie was my best friend by accident. He came to my house anf thought I was my brother Roy. We walked to WHS many times. We used to pick (or shall i say eat and throw tomatoes at each other) on the weekends for a total of 10 dollars each for 8 hours of hard work. In those days 10 dollars went a long way. Laura, Stacey & Judy, i have fond memories of Jessie. He was always upbeat. I remember one of his favorite song: Duke of Earl & Sherry Baby. Regards, Julian Blea

I am very sad of uncle Jessie’s passing. I so many great memories of him.
I remember one time fishing with my father and Alan at lake Irvine I was may 10 another was at lake Lopez Jess bill and I were trolling than all of sudden there was a fish one the top of the water moving slowly I netted
Than Jessie turned to bill and said hey look Brian’s using the lure you did last year.
But I think my favorite was living by him and family in cuyama and Taft when are children were born we spent many nights playing cards and drinking coffe those times along with the many fishing trips we made will always be in my mind. While working beside him in the oil fields I grew a lot and learned no matter what do a good job and try to have some fun while working.
The one thing I could never figure out was how he could drive down the toad with a full cup of coffee and no lid never spilling a drop.
Love you uncle Jess enjoy coffee with dad I will see both down the line

Attended the “Celebration of Life” service yesterday evening. Jessie’s two daughters gave the eulogies, which were deeply from the heart. The “living Cross”. presented by the Jobs Daughters brought tears to my eyes. So fitting for a true and kind Master Mason.
