VISITATION observing CDC guidelines: Monday, May 3rd from 10am to 11am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4810 Woolworth Avenue, followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Monday, May 3rd at 11am. Interment: Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Poor Clare Sisters.

Age 90 – Passed in Omaha, Nebraska.
Preceded in death by parents, John and Kathryn Kirkpatrick. Survived by daughters, Kathy (Kunasek) Sorensen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Patty Kunasek of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren: Travis Sorensen (Tracy Olson) of North Liberty, Iowa, Genna Sorensen (Scott Kamrath – fiance) of Omaha, Nebraska, Charisa Timmins (Barry) of Iowa City, Iowa; great-grandchildren: Matthew Liman Sorensen of North Liberty, Iowa, Marlon Francis and Quinn Natalie Timmins of Iowa City, Iowa.

On behalf of my mother, Bev Yager, I post these sentiments and thoughts. Bev and Kirty have been best friends since grade school. Kirty is part of our family. Our hearts are broken to say good-bye to our dear Kirty, may she rest in peace.
